Nigerian singer Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, widely known as Oladips, has opened up about the complexities of his relationship with fellow artist Qudus Fakoya Oluwadamilare, also known as Qdot.
According to reports, it was Qdot who took the initiative among industry figures to announce Oladips’ “miraculous resurrection” on Instagram. Qdot shared a photo of the singer and expressed relief at Oladips’ continued well-being.
In a recent revelation, the Lalakukulala hitmaker disclosed that his connection with Qdot encountered challenges over a year ago when the two fell out due to a refusal to collaborate.
\Despite this setback, Oladips expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of indigenous rapper Zlatan. He referred to Zlatan as his steadfast best friend, highlighting how Zlatan consistently stood by him in times of need.
Reflecting on the past, Oladips shared, “One year ago, I begged Qdot for a verse but he refused. When the news of my perceived demise went viral, he called me his Gee on his page… How am I his Gee all of a sudden? Zlatan, who is my best friend, didn’t even post ‘my Gee’. I told Zlatan to let us do a song; he did a full album for me. If you do good for me, I will say it.”
