Omah Lay has peaked at number one on the Top Songs chart for Nigeria with one of his latest songs off his Boy Alone deluxe version.

Omah Lay’s Reason, a new song off the deluxe version of his debut album Boy Alone, has taken over the number one spot from Asake on the Apple Music Top Songs Daily Chart for Nigeria.

Reason, which was released alongside the deluxe version of Boy Alone on June 15, 2023, is now the number one song in the country for the first time since its release.

This is not the first time Omah Lay would be peaking at number one on the chart as a viral song off the same album as well, Soso peaked at number one when the album was released.

Omah Lay captured the heart of fans with this project; many feel is on its way to becoming one of the biggest projects of 2023 as Boy Alone itself, which was released in 2022, was also categorised as one of the best projects of that year.
