Nigerian singer Naira Marley has arrived in the country to assist the authorities with their investigations into the death of the late singer, Mohbad.

Recall that Naira Marley had requested a guarantee of his safety after videos of him directly or indirectly assaulting Mohbad surfaced online.

Naira Marley had offered to help the police with their investigation and prove his innocence if they could assure him that he would be safe from harm.

Taking to social media, he shared his arrival in the country and gave an update that he would help find justice for Mohbad on the microblogging platform Twitter (formerly known as Twitter).

He wrote,

“I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole. I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail”

In other news, Naira Marley stated that he will return to Nigeria for the ongoing investigation into the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, if the police can guarantee his safety.

The Marlian Music boss made this statement during a recent interview with Reno Omokri, who inquired whether he is willing to come back to Nigeria.

He said,

“100% if they can guarantee my safety. There are a lot of angry men that don’t want me there. They know the truth but they have been poisoned by the media. If they can guarantee my safety, I will be there”.
