Check Out Burna Boy’s Reaction After Davido Called Him A ‘NEW CAT’

Nigerian Grammy Award-winning artist Burna Boy has reacted to Davido description of him as a “new cat” in an interview.

It was earlier reported the “Feel” hitmaker said he and Wizkid were the first young artists to become successful.

He stated that everyone is aware of this and expressed his delight at seeing “new cats” dominate the music industry.

Davido referred to Burna Boy, Rema, Fireboy, Mayorkun, and Asake as the ‘new cats’ who followed him and Wizkid.

The music executive made the statement during an interview that’s trending, saying; “Everybody knows that I was one of the first, Wizkid and I were the first young artistes to blow up and it feels good seeing new cats like Burna Boy, Rema, Fireboy, Mayorkun.

You know a lot of new cats coming, killing it…Asake who was on my album. So, yes, I think the future of Afrobeat is in good hands.”

Burna Boy, who is unconcerned by his comment, has now spoken out and posted images from his hugely successful London gig.

The singer sold out the 80,000-person arena, making history.

Burna claimed in a dubious post that his lifelong goal has been to bring people from different backgrounds together.

The Grammy-winning artist expressed appreciation for enabling him to perform at his biggest show to date.

“Uniting people from all walks of life has always been my dream.

“London, thank you for making it possible for me at my biggest show to date! Shout out to my family @theuglygram @santansave @popcaanmusic and Stormzy.

“We’re living an impact for eternity. Love, Damini.”
