Renowned Nigerian musician Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu aka Burna Boy has revealed that he has only two similarities with his colleague Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by the stage name Wizkid.
He says this while refuting claims that he competes with Wizkid.
Burna, in a recent interview with Haitian American hip hop disc player DJ Whoo Kid, explained that there is no rivalry between him and Big Wiz as both of them are two different artists.
He added that they were both on different lanes of music and claimed that Wizkid’s music is all about bitches, while he sings about real life.
Burna said: “No, we are not competing. We are on two different lanes in life, you know? And the only similarity really, is the fact that we are from the same country and we love each other.
“That’s what brings us together. We are on two different lanes. Wizkid is about the bitches, I’m about real life and the bitches sometimes.”
Recall, Controversial Twitter influencer Daniel Regha described Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy as an up-and-coming performer when compared to Wizkid, Olamide, and Davido.
In his opinion, comparing Burna Boy with Wizkid, Davido, and Olamide is more like to comparing Wizkid with 2Baba, D’banj, and other artists in the same category.

“Burna is still an upcomer compared to Wizkid, Davido and Olamide. When those artistes were popping, Burna was nowhere to be found…Burna is mostly popping now because he is in the streaming era.”
