Following his dissatisfaction in the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly elections, Falz unlocks, ‘Yakubu’ – a diss tune against the Independent National Electoral Commission’s Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu. The renowned rapper featured Vector.

The activist teased a portion of the music video on his official Twitter profile, which piqued social media users’ excitement.

Yabuku oversaw the conduct of the presidential, governorship, national assembly, and state assembly elections in Nigeria, which have drawn criticism for alleged irregularities in the voting process, violence, and lack of transparency.

In the new song, the rappers speak for disgruntled Nigerians and criticised the INEC chairman and other political parties that are supposedly complicit in election fraud.

He had previously criticized the electoral commission for spending N300 billion on an election that numerous international and local observers, as well as well-intentioned Nigerians, had characterized as a fraud that was not credible, free, or fair.

He also made public a sample of what is thought to be a replica of the tampered-with result sheets in Nigeria.

Accompanied by the audio comes a befitting video illustrating the events of the election in various stages.
