Toke Makinwa has shared her disappointment in Banky W’s loss of the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat to Thaddeus Attah.

Attah, a Labour Party candidate, defeated Bankole Wellington, also known as Banky W in the election which took place on Saturday.

He was declared the winner of the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

According to INEC Returning Officer Prof Funmilayo Odukoya, Attah received 24,075 votes to defeat his opponents, Banky W of the People Democratic Party (PDP), who received 18,666 votes, and Mr Babajide Obanikoro of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who received 16,901 votes.

Toke Makinwa expressed her disappointment at his loss on her Twitter page.

“The news of LP winning in Eti-Osa House of Representatives is so painful cos he didn’t campaign, we don’t even know him.

“Banky worked hard, Banky deserved to win Eti-Osa”, she wrote.
