Zlatan, Ruger, Yemi Alade, and other Nigerian musicians are set to perform at the 2023 African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA), which honour the best in African music excellence with much pump and pageantry
The 10th edition of the AFRIMMA, an award that recognizes important accomplishments by African music stars around the world, is planned to honour the outstanding achievement of the current global upsurge in African music.
AFRIMMA has revealed a tantalizing lineup of musicians who will thrill audiences at the award ceremony scheduled for September.
Nigerian music star Yemi Alade, Dancehall sensation Ruger, Hip Hop superstar Phyno, hitmaker KCee, and Street-pop maestro Zlatan are all set to perform at the event. Also set to grace the stage is Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz.
In addition to the awards ceremony, the AFRIMMA Fashion Show will be held at the FiveAM Theatre on September 16.
On September 17, 2023, the Award presentation is scheduled to take place in the enormous Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, Texas. Events like the hotly debated AFRIMMA Music Panel, which has become a staple of the award show, would take place in addition to the main ceremony.
