“You’re A Big Disaster” – D’banj Ridicules Nigerian Idol Contestant Who Performed Wizkid’s Song, ‘Reckless’

A video of a contestant’s performance on Nigerian Idol Season 8 has gone viral and sparked reactions online.

The show features D’banj, Simi, and Obi Asika as judges, all of whom returned for this season, following Progress Chukwuyem’s win in Season 7.

During one of the show’s episodes, a middle-aged contestant attempted to perform Wizkid’s hit song “Reckless” from his album, ‘Made in Lagos‘. Unfortunately, the performance did not live up to the judges’ expectations and left them laughing out loud.

D’banj, in particular, did not hold back his thoughts and expressed his opinion on the performance.

He said:

“You’re not just a star, you are a big disaster.”

Simi and Obi Asika on their part kept on laughing at the lad’s rendition.
