Rema has unveiled the official music video of his latest single ‘Holiday’ which chronicles some previous mistakes he made while struggling to pursue his dreams and music career.
The feel-good video was directed by DK for a Prior Gold Picture and it features some of his Mavin Records colleagues including, Ayra Starr, Magixx and Crayon.
‘Holiday’ takes listeners on a journey from his hometown of Benin City to the release of his debut EP in 2019, highlighting his self-belief despite doubts, criticism, and rejection.
The song was produced by Blaisebeatz, who has also produced hits like ‘Buga (Lo Lo Lo)’ by Kizz Daniel and ‘Call Me Every Day’ by Chris Brown featuring Wizkid.
The singer, on Friday, released two singles — ‘Holiday’ and ‘Reason You’ as a follow-up to his debut album Rave & Roses which was released in March last year, featuring his original, solo version of ‘Calm Down’ among 16 tracks.
