Rema Achieves A New Milestone On Apple Music’s Global Charts For The Year 2023

Rema has achieved a notable feat for African music on Apple Music’s end-of-year global chart for 2023. His hit song “Calm Down” was the highest-ranked African song on Apple Music’s Top 100 global end-of-year chart.

The chart, released on November 28, 2023, revealed the top 100 songs globally and by country, computed from November 1, 2022, to October 31, 2023.

“Calm Down” charted in over seven countries, with the highest positions in:

1. India (#4)
2. UK (#5)
3. Canada (#6)
4. New Zealand (#9)
5. Sweden (#13)
6. Australia (#21)
7. Norway (#30)

Apple Music listed Rema’s “Calm Down” as the highest-charting African song on the global end-of-year chart. The song’s remix, featuring Selena Gomez, held the number 12 spot on the list.

Additionally, Tems was the other African artist to hold a position on the list with her collaboration with Future, “Wait For U.”
