Veteran Nigerian musician, Olu Maintain recently extended an arm of love and generosity to popular comedian, Ayo Makun, and his wife, Mabel, following their recent house fire in Lagos.
Recall that the celebrity couple faced a tragedy on Sunday, August 6, when fire gutted their mansion in the Lekki area of Lagos, destroying properties worth millions of naira. Fortunately, no live was lost in the tragic fire.
Following the incident, the comedian travelled to the US to spend time with his wife and children in their Atlanta home.
In a new development, AY revealed that veteran singer, Olu Maintain, took his wife on a shopping spree to restore some of things she lost in the fire.
The 51-year-old comedian said he and his wife bumped into the “Yahooze” crooner at a mall in Atlanta, and he decided to show her love due to the tragic incident.
He took to his Instagram page to share a video of them shopping for perfumes and other items at the mall and captioned it,
“@realmabelmakun and I ran into @mrolumaintain and @dewavesempire at Lenox Mall today. These brothers of mine decided to show her love based on what she lost through the fire incident that engulfed our home. Please help me tag and thank them. The whole thing was just too spontaneous. We are very grateful”
