Nigerian singer, Davido took an unexpected step by surprising one of his fans at her sister’s wedding event and performing one of his hit songs, ‘Unavailable.’
In multiple videos that garnered attention on social media, the Nigerian singer was seen passionately singing at the event while under the guard of his bodyguard.
Expressing how Davido arrived at the event, the woman, whose sister received the surprise performance, wrote on her social media page: “My sister’s wedding! He came straight from the airport to surprise her and her husband! Thank you @davido for honoring us last night!! May God continue to bless you always!!”
She further detailed how she approached Davido about attending the event: “When I told @davido my sister was getting married and asked if he would surprise her and her husband, he said consider it done and asked for the date.”
“He mentioned he’d be in Dubai but committed to flying in straight from the airport, and indeed he did!”
“He consistently followed up to confirm the date and reassured me he would be there without any prompting. He said, ‘#TheHat, don’t worry, I got you.”
