Libianca’s ‘People’ Hits NO. 7 On UK Official Singles Chart

Cameroonian-American singer Libianca has maintained her strong performance in the UK Official Singles Chart as she reaches a new peak position.

Libianca’s “People” rises to a new peak position of No. 7 on the most recent UK Official Singles Chart, extending its stay there to 11 weeks.

‘People‘ has seen amazing international popularity since its debut, making it the first crossover Afrobeats hit of 2023.

The biggest Afrobeat track in the UK, Rema’s “Calm Down,” has remained on the chart for 29 weeks and has returned to its high position of No. 5.

“Rush” by Ayra Starr also sets a new peak at No. 24, rising 4 spots from No. 28 the previous week as it enters its eighth week on the chart.

While it stays on top for a further 11 weeks, Libianca’s “People” maintains its place at the top of the list.

“Holiday” by Rema remains at No. 2, while “Who’s Your Man” by Spyro remains at No. 3.

BNXN’s ‘Gwagwalada‘ feat Kizz Daniel & Seyi Vibez moves up one spot to NO. 4 while Ayra Starr’s ‘Sability‘ drops to NO. 5.

Asake’s ‘Dull‘ & ‘Organise‘ appears at NO. 6 and NO. 7, Burna Boy’s ‘Toni-Ann Singh‘ moves up to NO. 8, Joeboy’s ‘Body & Soul‘ moves up four places to NO. 9, and Lojay’s ‘MOTO‘ drops to NO. 10.

At No. 11, Peruzzi’s “Pressure” featuring Fireboy makes its debut, followed by Fireboy’s “Diana” featuring Shenseea & Chris Brown at No. 17 and Ruger’s “Red Flag” at No. 20.
