Nigerian superstar singer, Davido Adeleke expresses gratitude to his fans following his show in Washington DC amidst his highly anticipated Timeless Tour.
After a brief absence from the mainstream music scene, Davido made a comeback in March 2022 with his fourth album titled ‘Timeless,’ which went on to break numerous African streaming records on major platforms.
On July 2, 2023, Davido delighted his fans in Washington DC with a sold-out performance at the 21,000-capacity Capital One Arena, where he treated them to a captivating collection of his classic hits.
Taking to Instagram to express his gratitude for the turnover, Davido referred to his fans as the best in the world.
“Yo DC! I’m blown away! Y’all showed up in your thousands and packed the arena out! I have the best fans in the world! Thank you for showing up and showing out! Next stop Houston! Timeless Tour! See you soon!!!” he wrote.
The Timeless US Tour is set to continue on July 7, with Davido scheduled to perform at the Toyota Centre in Houston, Texas, before heading to the Credit 1 Arena in Chicago, Illinois, on July 8.
