Sensational Nigerian chef and restauranteur, Hilda Baci, has revealed that she auditioned for the Big Brother Naija show on five separate occasions but was not selected.

She made this disclosure during her appearance on Cool FM Nigeria’s program, The Big Friday Show, hosted by former BBNaija star, Tacha.

According to the Guinness World Record Holder, she initially planned to participate in the reality show to gain recognition before doing her cooking marathon, but unfortunately, she wasn’t chosen.

Her words,

“I actually tried to get on Big Brother [Naija] for a while. I think I auditioned about four or five times.

“The plan for the cook-a-thorn was still in the pipeline, so my goal was to go to Big Brother and then come out and do the cook-a-thon.”

A while back, Hilda Back shocked netizens as she shared the recipe of a soup made with N60K fish.

On her TikTok page, the renowned culinary expert demonstrated how to prepare a barracuda fish soup using additional proteins such as shrimp and snails, providing a step-by-step guide.

Hilda Baci caught the attention of many when she revealed that the cost of the fish was a whopping N60k.

“We call this fish soup at home. Some call it fisherman soup and they are so many recipes to this. I just thought to share one of mine with you. Was it helpful? Will you try it?” she wrote while sharing the video. Watch here
