Nigerian Actress, Hadiza Abubakar, has taken to social media to share her near-death experience on new movie set.
Hadiza, via her official Instagram page, revealed that she almost drowned while acting a movie role in the water, at film location.
According to her, it was her senior colleague, Mercy Johnson and the stunt man on set, who noticed her struggling that saved her life.
She further added that others around thought she was still acting while gasping for breath, instead of trying to help her.
She wrote;
“Almost drowned while filming on set yesterday, but everyone thought I was acting.
It dawned on them after some seconds, and I was losing my breath. Thanks to Aunty Mercy Johnson and the stuntman who noticed after some seconds and helped me out.”
