Controversial street-hop singer, Portable overtakes Seyi Vibez, Odumodublvk, Blaq Bones, and others to win the Best New Artist Award.
The singer was nominated alongside other top Nigerian artists at the African Entertainment Awards USA.
Portable emerged winner of the international award, making it the first international award.
