The biggest names in Black entertainment attended the 2023 BET Awards on Sunday, June 25.
The awards, which recognise the year’s best performances in music, television, film, and sports, were presented live from the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. Busta Rhymes received the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s event, which celebrated 50 years of Hip Hop.
Awards were given out in a number of categories, including Best International Act, Album of the Year, Female and Male Hip-Hop Act, Best Collaboration, Viewers’ Choice, and many others, between standout performances from favourites like Coco Jones, Latto, Offset, and Quavo and several Hip-Hop 50 performances throughout the broadcast.
