Social media users have reacted after Davido hailed Rihanna for crowning his popular song, “Unavailable” song of the year.

Afrobeats legend David Adeleke, known well as Davido, has praised Rihanna for her performance in the song

Davido wrote, quoting an interview clip that was popular on X, “My Ri Ri.”

When asked to select her album of the year, Rihanna, the multibillionaire pop star, said that she wasn’t an “album girl” and listed her joint song of the year as “Unavailable” and “Mnike,” which was performed by Tyler ICU and Tumelo.

She said, “Album of the year? Am I an album girl? Or am I a streaming single girl?

“‘Unavailable’ [by Davido featuring Musa Keys] on repeat. That and ‘Mnike’ [by Tyler ICU and Tumelo] are my song of the year.”

Rihanna made this known in a side interview with Complex at a recent event of her fashion brand, Fenty, The Creeper.
